Learning Objectives
Knowledge:
Students will acquire knowledge on general biology and animal biology.
Competencies:
Students will acquire a lexicon specific to present and discuss topics concerning general biology and animal biology. They will connect and integrate different topics within the discipline. They will recognize the main animal groups, describe their features and adaptations and understand the biologic basis of animal diversity.
CFU: 6
Total hours including lectures, seminars, individual study: 150 (6x 25)
48 (6x8) lectures, practice e laboratory.
The course is based on frontal lectures, practice and on laboratory experiences during which students will observe macroscopic and microscopic specimens and will end with a guided visit to the Zoology section of the Natural Science Museum.
The material shown during lectures is available on MOODLE.
