Learning Objectives
Methodologies for estimating rural goods. In-depth study for the hunting fauna sector. Introduction of environmental assessment elements.
The student must acquire the theoretical aspects and know the application methodologies for carrying out estimates of rural funds for their current use and in the reference territories, with particular reference to environments in which the presence of wildlife and livestock farms is detected.
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and encourage personal skills to carry out didactic and even professional estimates with independent judgment.
The expected learning outcomes can be summarized in some specific points:
a) On the basis of the type of rural fund examined, choice of the most appropriate estimation methodology.
b) In the analytical assessments, knowledge and ability in the use of financial calculation.
c) In synthetic assessments, knowledge and ability to identify and analyse households’ market, choice of sources to use, applicability of methodologies acquired.
d) Identification of the regulatory instruments governing the management of the rural area. These teaching objectives and the resulting learning outcomes can be achieved through lectures and exercises.

Type of Assessment
Oral examination with discussion of the theoretical and practical aspects and carrying out of financial calculation exercises.
The exam involves the assessment of knowledge relating to estimation procedures, financial mathematics and existing regulations in the field of fauna.
For each of the learning outcomes previously identified, questions will be asked to assess knowledge and mastery of the subject, as well as organizational rigor and ownership of language. The score must consider the student's ability to solve the problems and above all the completeness of the answers based on the cultural background acquired.

Definition of farm and agricultural enterprise; Mathematical financial institution. Farm Appraisal. Scope for improvement in methods of production. Evaluation of opportunities for new enterprises. The management of land, property and business in the countryside. Economic analysis of breeding and fauna.
Assessment of farm improvement. Operating cost of faunal activities. Scope for increasing resource base or breaking existing constraints. Evaluation of hunting and wild life activities.
